[givemesport.com] Jose Mourinho says Didier Drogba has a future at Chelsea in some capacity, but says he won?t be looking to bring the Ivorian back to Stamford Bridge in the transfer window.

Drogba was the focal point of Mourinho?s Chelsea during his first spell in charge, and the powerful forward went on to cement his place in the club?s history by scoring the winning penalty in the 2012 Champions League final before the curtain fell on his eight-year spell in west London.

Drogba is now back in Europe after a doomed spell with Shanghai Shenhua and is plying his trade with Galatasaray, with whom he came close to knocking Mourinho?s Real Madrid side out of the Champions League last season.

Now Mourinho is back in charge at Chelsea, and while the Special One won?t make a move to bring him back, he does believe the 35-year-old has a role to play in the club?s future.

?He is a player and he is a winner and he enjoys his game and I almost had a heart attack because of him [last season],? Mourinho said. ?Let him enjoy a good couple of years of football but, after that, he is loved in this club by everyone and that?s very, very normal. I think one day he will have a Chelsea future.?

Asked if Drogba could return as a coach, Mourinho explained: ?It?s more a global question than a specific question to the manager.

?I am nobody, I am just the manager. Is he a very important player in Chelsea?s history? Yes. Will Didier be always in the memory of Chelsea fans, Chelsea board, Chelsea owner, Chelseafellow players, Chelsea kids growing up? Yes.

?Is it normal that Didier will be in the future connected with Chelsea again, I think yes. How? I don?t know.?
