Morocco’s King Mohammed VI is expected to arrive in Libreville on Thursday for a working and friendly visit, a source close to Gabon’s presidency said Tuesday.
The visit is part of the king’s tour of Sub-Saharan Africa, the third of its kind by the Moroccan king.
While in Gabon, King Mohammed VI will hold official meetings with government officials, preside over the signing of bilateral agreements as well as the launch of cooperation projects.
Authorities in Libreville have continued to carry out a thorough clean up of the city in readiness for the visit by King Mohammed VI.
Gabon and Morocco enjoy good bilateral relations and have signed a number of agreements, among them that of exemption of entry visas in their respective territories. Enditem
