Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Limited has established a partnership agreement with Aero Surveys Limited, operator of Starbow, to collect payments for its e-ticket reservations across the Bank?s branches nationwide.
The service creates a partnership of expediency between the two companies. It provides convenient options for customers that make their Starbow ticket reservations online, or via telephone pay at any GTBank branch near them with the secret code generated from the online or telephone bookings.
Once payment is made, GTBank automatically sends notification to Starbow — upon which the e-ticket reservation is confirmed with evidence of payment instantly reflecting in Starbow?s accounts.
One key benefit of this partnership is that instant notification is sent via secured and predetermined email channels to designated Starbow staff immediately a ticket payment is made.
Others include increased customer satisfaction as payments can be made at convenient locations where the traditional GTBank prompt service is enjoyed, and the fact that passengers do not have to carry large sums of money over great distances to make payments for tickets.
Commenting on the partnership, the Managing Director of Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Limited Mr. Lekan Sanusi stated that: ?We are delighted to once again include another service that increases the convenience for our customers and those of Starbow.
?Through the use of our robust and secure IT infrastructure, we are able to support our business partners such as Starbow in their quest to provide useful and reliable alternative payment channels to enhance their operations,? he added.
He further explained that just like other similar payment collection partnerships, the agreement with Starbow is about quality, convenience and the provision of value-for-money services to the mutual benefit of both parties.
The head of Sales and Marketing of Starbow, Mr. Piero De Angelis, also speaking on the partnership with GTBank stated that: ?We are delighted that GTBank recognised and responded to our needs and the needs of our passengers; and that through this partnership we are able to offer customers enhanced services, backed with speed and convenience of booking.?
He added, ?Customers can now book online and visit any GTBank branch of their choice with their Unique Booking Reference to make secure payment for their ticket. We believe that GTBank?s attention to detail and customer Service levels will further enhance the Starbow Brand and its quest to deliver an unrivalled travel experience to our customers.?
Aside from the Starbow e-ticket payment collections for their domestic and regional flight bookings, GTBank offers similar services for British Airways, Iberia Airlines and American Airlines for their international flight bookings.
Other collection services at all branches of the Bank include Ghana Water Company and ECG bill payments, VFS Global visa fees for UK, Ireland, Denmark, Belgium, Italy and Spain embassies in Ghana.
Since inception in 2006, GTBank has ensured that it provides the utmost in customer satisfaction delivery through the provision of convenient products and services. The Bank has been duly recognised for this by customers — as indicated in a recent KPMG Africa-wide Customer Satisfaction Survey Report where it is named as the ?Most Customer-focused Bank in Ghana?.
During the recently-held Ghana Banking Awards ceremony at the International Trade Fair Centre in Accra, GTBank emerged as Best Bank in Mobile Banking — co-winning the Trade Finance Deal of the Year award.
Presently, it operates from 24 branches spread across six regions in the country and has plans of extending its network to other parts of Ghana.
It has presence in all the four locations that Starbow flies to and from: namely Accra, Kumasi, Tamale and Takoradi.
