Zambian VP to attend Buhari’s inauguration

Zambian Vice-President Inonge Wina is expected in Nigeria to attend the inauguration ceremony of that country’s President-elect Muhammad Buhari on Friday, the country’s official news agency reported on Thursday. Goodluck-Buhari
Maynard Misapa, Zambia’s acting high commissioner to Nigeria confirmed that the country’s vie-president will be among other dignitaries that will attend the inauguration ceremony which will be held at the Eagles Square in the capital, Abuja, according to the Zambian News and Information Service (ZANIS).
The Zambian vice-president is also expected to attend a luncheon, dinner and gala night to be hosted by the Nigeria government, he added.
Buhari, a retired army-general and former military ruler, will be inaugurated as Nigeria’s new leader taking over from President Goodluck Jonathan.
Buhari, who defeated Jonathan during election held two months ago, was a former military ruler from 1983 to 1985 after taking power in a military coup. Enditem
