The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has set June this year as the deadline for all countries to migrate from analogue to digital television broadcasting.
But Minister of Information and Broadcasting Services Chishimba Kambwili, in a ministerial statement presented to parliament, said only major cities will be able to migrate by the stated June 17 deadline because the government has no money for the whole country to migrate at the same time.
