Speaking at the forum, the President of the Hasannat Youth Movement Mr. Anass Sulleymana, noted that, the selection of schools and courses at the Senior High School level has become a major problem for the students and some end up making wrong choices. This he said has affected numerous students in a diverse ways.

That is performing abysmally whiles in school, failing to gain admission in their choice of schools and also not fitting into the job market after completing school. This he said, they have noted that students in the final year of the junior High School are currently going through the registration process for the Basic Education Certificate Examination [ BECE].

It is in this regard, they came out with this initiative in order to help the students to overcome these challenges so that they can fully benefit from the best of opportunities that are available to them in all spheres of endeavour. More so, our organization is aimed at championing the welfare and the wellbeing of the Muslim youth in Darkuman. Adding that, a wide range of activities have been put in place to support the youth in order to help them over future challenges.

?We are people who have acquired high levels of education and wish that our younger brothers and sisters who currently are at the lower levels of education are also able to rise to the levels that we have reached and even higher. It is our belief that this goal can only be achieved when our younger ones are made aware of the events around them, and are being given the necessary orientation as to what is expected of them in any given situation, and how to come by the necessary information and opportunities regarding their academic and social well being” he explained.

The Personal Assistant to the National Chief Imam Alhaji Khuzaima M. Osman who graced the occasion, also seized the opportunity to advise the youth to take their studies very seriously in order to come out with flying colours in their examinations. Adding that they should eschew all kinds of immoral activities since they are future leaders of the country.

He entreated stakeholders, government to endeavour to create enabling environment for the youth so that it could cushion them to achieve their desired schools. He has therefore commended the Hasanaat Youth Movement for coming out with such a laudable initiative and promised to render his outfit?s support in order to champion the cause.
