KABUL, Afghanistan, March 31, 2012/PRNewswire via African Press Organization (APO)/ — Afghan Wireless (“AWCC”), Afghanistan’s leading telecom operator and one of Afghanistan’s largest private employers, has today announced that Valy Hedjasi (“Valy”), Afghanistan’s most successful international pop singer, will become its brand ambassador.

Valy started playing traditional Afghan instruments at the age of seven. He has gained international recognition since his first two singles Delama Shekoondi and Bia Tu were released from his album “After Love.” His third single Qatanghani has also received critical acclaim. Valy’s concerts and recordings are extremely popular in Afghanistan and with Afghans all over the world.
