Pastor Opoku, who is also the Yamfo District Pastor of the Church of Pentecost, noted that children?s welfare and their moral upbringing is of paramount importance to the Church since the church believes that children are the future leaders of the family, church and the nation.

The Resident Pastor of PIWC, Pastor Clement Achim Gyimah, described the donation as a fulfillment of the scriptures by demonstrating the love of Christ to the underprivileged children and their families.

Pastor Achim Gyimah asked the school authorities to take good care of the items and encouraged the children to learn hard to achieve their God given potentials in the future.

Elder Clement Oduro Coffie, PIWC Children?s Ministry Leader, explained that the church was touched by the plight of the children during an evangelism outreach programme in the village.

He was full of appreciation to the church as well as corporate institutions such as the Fidelity Bank, Ghana Statistical Service and the staff of the Sunyani Regional Hospital for supporting the vision.
