A dispute between two factions over a piece of land at Otinebi near Ayi Mensah in the Ga East District of the Greater Accra Region has resulted in the death of two.

The dead have been identified as Adjei Tetteh, 26, and Mensah Sowah, 42.

Three other persons who sustained various degrees of gunshot injury are on admission at the 37 Military Hospital receiving treatment.
The injured have been identified as Tetteh Adjei, 23, Sammy Adjei, 32 and Nii Noinii, 23.

The victims, according to information gathered, are responding to treatment.
No arrest has so far been made, according to police reports.

Confirming the story to DAILY GUIDE, Chief Superintendent Frank Adufati, Accra Regional Police Crime Officer said the incident occurred around 11:00am on Saturday October 19, 2013.

Information gathered by the police indicated that, one David Krufio who is disputing over a land with his brother, Joseph Krufio allegedly engaged armed men led by one Zuka from Ashaiman to guard the said land.

On that fateful day, the two deceased persons in the company of Tetteh Adjei, Sammy Adjei and Nii Nionii, all family members went to inspect the land.

While surveying the land, however, the armed men led by Zuka opened fire on them.

The deceased persons who were shot in the stomach dropped dead in the process while the three others also received gunshot wounds.

The suspects immediately bolted after the act to escape arrest.
David is at large, but frantic efforts are being made by the police to apprehend the suspects.
