Tsatsu Tsikata says he bears Justice Anin Yeboah no personal grudges contrary to suspicions of such, after he accused of bias on Saturday on a TV programme.

?I have absolutely nothing personal against him?, he said on Tuesday, in response to media interviews regarding his recent accusation against the Judge in the recently-decided election petition case.

Tsatsu Tsikata, in his first interview on TV3, on which platform he made the allegation of political bias against Justice Anin Yeboah, relied on what he described as inappropriate, a past judgment by Anin Yeboah in a case concerning him (Tsikata), in which the Judge, according to Mr. Tsikata, used the statutes of a different organisation to make a ruling on an issue concerning another organisation.

?He gave a decision?against the position that I had taken, that the IFC ? International Finance Corporation ? is not immune from the jurisdiction of the Courts of Ghana. He gave a decision asserting immunity and in asserting it, all he relied on was the statement of the immunity of the International Monetary Fund, a different organisation?, Mr. Tsikata had said in that interview.

The history between the two men, has led leaders within the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), including former President John Kufuor?s Spokesperson, Frank Agyekum, suspecting that Mr. Tsikata?s allegations against the Judge could be borne out of personal vendetta.

Mr. Tsikata however told XYZ Breakfast show on Tuesday that there was nothing personal about his accusation.

?It?s not an issue about me having [had] a bad deal? from Justice Anin Yeboah in the past, Mr. Tsikata said.
