South Devon is the southern part of the county of Devon, England and is a popular tourist destination. South Devon is well known for top quality walking, and features a number of fabulous coastal walks on the South West Coastal Path. A popular walk is to Bolt Head, which is a dramatic rocky headland with a rich history. This is where thousands gathered to watch the Spanish Armada make its way up the English Channel.

Other walks to take are around the beaches and coves. There are several other attractions to suit all ages in South Devon including cultural attractions, historic houses, museums, abbeys, castles and gardens. Noteworthy attractions to visit include Cookworthy Museum, Overbecks coastal garden, Salcombe Maritime Museum, Totnes Castle, Dartmouth Museum and Dartmouth Castle. For those who enjoy exploring, places to visit include Slaptop Ley Field Centre, Sharpham Vineyard and Becky Falls.
