Subah Issue Is About Lies

0

downloadLets get something straight. I dont think anybody is against real time monitoring of telcos for revenue assurance.
In fact l fully support it.
I think ideally, the work of Subah is important.
But the current Subah issue is about the lies politicians and civil servants are telling us.
If Subah audited CDRs, there must be a report to show that they found that telcos hid revenue. We want a copy of that report. That would be the key justification for the ghc74.3million paid to Subah.
KPMG and Delloite did an audit of telcos and discovered undercutting on the international front between 2010 and 2012. There is a report of that audit with the NCA, which they have refused to publish or even speak expressly about.
But there is no such report from Subah. I really want to see one. Please someone show us where we can find one if it exists.
My other concern is that even if the telecom industry realises incremental revenue because of its own growth, Subah will be paid a percentage of that incremental revenue even without doing any audit. Once revenue increases, Subah gets 13.5%. Are these empty headed politicians and civil servants thinking about that, or they are happy to share in the possible loot?
