Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan and Togolese international Emmanuel Adebayor have promised fireworks at this year?s ?Stars Soccer Fiesta Reloaded?.

Taking place in Kumasi, the event will see musicians, comedians, footballers, actors and actresses participating in a football match.

Besides the fun, the partnership of the two influential strikers for this year?s event will see the celebrities embarking on a massive sanitation and charity campaigns.

Gyan said in a telephone interview after the launch in Kumasi that ?we are taking it a notch higher. We laid back for a while and that should tell you we were putting things together to make it bigger and better.

?As you have been told Ade has joined forces with me to make it mega this time. My colleagues, I mean national team mates are in talks and they have expressed readiness to join the trail.

?Sanitation is crucial yet we pay little attention to it. Footballers all over the world are used to drum home important messages, and I believe we descending into the gutters will send a strong message.

?It shouldn?t be a nine-day wonder; I mean the cleaning of our surroundings. It?s our small way of giving back to society, we will shake Kumasi on those two days.?

And like the last edition where the stars lined up in a convoy in their luxurious vehicles from Accra to the Garden City, this year?s will follow the same trend.

Their Kumasi counterparts, in like manner, will drive through town, signing autographs for their fans.

Preceding the main event on June 21, which is a soccer match involving the lyricists and those in the acting business at the Baba Yara Stadium in the morning, is a clean-up exercise to drum home the need for healthy living.

Later on the same day, the Asamoah Gyan and Sheyi Emmanuel Adebayor foundations will make a donation to the children?s ward of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).

The event, powered by Gold Star Consult, started on a low key at Dansoman, an Accra suburb, in 2007.
