Dubbed “Power of 250 Reloaded” the campaign follows the successful execution of the ‘Power of 250″ drive, which attracted new customers and mobilise deposits for businesses as well as rewarded loyal customers.

Addressing journalists at the launch of the second phase of the campaign, Mr Francois Marchal, SGG Deputy Managing Director designate said the bank would continue to encourage customers to save through the promotion and to reward those who choose the bank as their preferred banking partner.
“As always, making sure that our customers are part of the team is what we call for in ‘Building Team Spirit Together’ and the Power of 250 Reloaded is yet another avenue through which we connect with existing and potential customers. It is our way of showing our appreciation for their loyalty,? he stated.
Mr Obed Hoyah, Head of Retail Distribution at SGG, said the first phase of the campaign had been very successful as the objectives of the promotion were met.

He said the bank would seek to meet the same objectives in the new promotion.

The first phase rewarded 70 lucky customers across the country with prizes, including cash of GH? 12,500, GH? 25,000 and GH? 75,000.
The Power of 250 Reloaded would include three cash prizes of GH? 10,000, GH? 30,000 and GH? 125,000.

There would be consolation prizes including Samsung Galaxy S5, washing machines and digital television sets.
The promotion is being run in collaboration with National Lottery Authority under the Caritas platform and opened to all persons with cedi denominated savings or current accounts.

Customers would be tracked with their customer ID generated by the bank and they would receive points based on their cumulative balance, that is, the sum of balances of all their deposit accounts (Current, Savings, My First Account, Smart Saver and Super Saver).
All customers would receive a point by increasing their cumulative balance at the start of the promotion on September 15, by GH? 250.00 and as many points as multiple increase of GH? 250.00.

Points would be calculated every day by comparing the cumulative end of day balance with the cumulative balance at the start of the promotion.
However, customers who decrease balance would lose all points except points for account opening and maintaining balance during two promotions.

The promotion will end on 14th December and a draw held on 19th December comprising all entries within the period.
