Apart from the investments of the church, it is its policy to motivate each of the over 100,000 members, especially the male population, to own at lest 10 acres of cocoa farm each as a form of social security.

These were disclosed by the General Superintendent of the Church, Opanin Abraham Kwaku Adusei in an interview with the Ghana News Agency(GNA) at Osiem.

Openin Adusei who was a professional teacher and a cocoa farmer before becoming the head of the Church, had won several awards for being the best cocoa farmer from the district level, and in 2009, winning the best cocoa farmer for the Eastern Region.

In 2013, he won the award for being the best cocoa farmer in Ghana, and in June this year, the General Superintendent was honoured on behalf of all cocoa farmers in the world and elected the President of the World Cocoa Farmers Organization in Holland.

He advised the youth to focus their attention on jobs that could sustain them, and not on

non-existing clerical jobs.

Opanin Adusei called for the transformation of Agriculture, from a culture or a way of life to business, where people go to farm with set targets, and put in efforts to achieve those targets, as pertains in any other business in the country.
