Several of Ghana’s A-listers hit the Aphrodisiac Night Club on Saturday night to support Sarkodie as he launched his Sark clothing line. Inspired by the rapper, the clothing line is designed by fashion entrepreneur, Yas. Among the attendees were the former captain of Black Stars, Stephen Appiah, Jayso, Ama K Abebrese, Sandra Ankobiah, Inna Patty, Fred Nuamah, Deborah Vanessa, D-Black, Prince David Osei, FOKN Bois, Ekow Smith Asante, Zainab (Big Brother Africa), Vicky Zugah, D-Cryme, Efya, Ruff N Smooth, Confidence Haugen and others.
The launch, which was hosted by Kofi Okyere Darko saw the unveiling of the 2013 collection from Sark clothing line, which includes belts, baseball caps, sneakers, jumpers, sweat pants, t shirts, shirts and more on a trendy runway.
There was also a musical performance by hiplife group 4×4 and comedy by Hogan. The man of the moment, clad in all-white Sark apparel and sneakers performed a few of his new songs and also invited singer Efya on stage for a duet. He thanked fans, family and friends for supporting his dreams and career; and promised to work harder to make them proud for believing in him. Sarkodie’s latest music video for ‘Lies’ featuring Lil Shaker was also premiered on the night.
