Rev Adayi (2nd left) outdooring the book

AN EVANGELIST and an author, Rev Robert Nelson Adayi, has admonished Christians to refrain from engaging in dubious ways that lead to wealth acquisition and rather resort to seeking God?s guidance in their effort to attaining prosperity.

The man of God hinted that although it is not wrong for Christians to acquire wealth, the rather dubious means people use in trying to get rich should be condemned.

Rev Adayi of the Assemblies of God Church, Ghana, specified this at the launch of his book titled: ?Poverty on the Cross? That You may Become Rich In Accra.?

The 110-paged book provides principles on how Christians could become wealthy by living according to God?s standards and principles.

He said, ?Many of us are guilty of corruption because we lack knowledge on God?s own approved methods by which we can become rich. We must refrain from acts which do not appeal to Christ. It is possible to make wealth according to principles of the Creator.?

Expressing confidence that the book would enlighten readers on the approved paths to wealth creation, he indicated that plans have also been put in place to translate the book into French in order to help disseminate the contents of the publication across borders.

Rev Adayi noted the book would be reproduced in electronic formats for quick references, urging more ministers of the Gospel to document useful tips which would benefit successive generations.

Dr Paul Frimpong-Manso, General Superintendent of the Assembly of God Church, tasked religious leaders to leave indelible footprints for their followers, admit mistakes where they fall short and also encourage crusaders of the Christian faith not relent on propagating the principles of Christ.
