Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie joined Blackground Records? Talib Kweli and Jean Grae and Ab-Soul as part of BET?s Hip-Hop Awards cypher this year. The Ghanaian rapper seemed to have excited the crowd at the Awards ceremony that aired in the States on Tuesday night, when his session was met with loud cheers.
Jean Grae encouraged listeners to stop saying ?femcee? in her cypher rhyme, while international rapper Sarkodie spit in his native language. Ab-Soul was next to take the focus, rocking his TDE cap and spitting, ?So fly I don?t need no feet.?
Talib Kweli was last to spit in the cypher, outright criticizing BET for never playing any of his videos or giving his songs shine. ?I?m Frank Ocean at a Chick-fil-A, I?ll never get served,? he rapped at the end.
