One-Week Of Ronnie’s Passing To Be Observed Tomorrow

The One-Week celebration of Ronnie Coches, a member of the hiplife group Buk Bak, who died last week, will be observed tomorrow Thursday November 28, at King Solomon, Dansoman.

The Greater Accra regional branch of the Musicians Union of Ghana, has directed.

Below, is a statement sent to us. We publish it, unedited.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing officially from The Greater Accra Regional Branch of the Musician Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) together with a special select committee to announce to your outfit the plans the association has towards the sudden death of Ronnie Coaches of BukBak. Ronnie was one artiste that helped in making the ?art form Hip-life? of Ghana music industry today.

Our plans are to provoke the history and contribution of this group in the music industry through the media. We are planning to merge this event to remind the Ghanaian and the rest of the world about the volumes of artistic works that has come out of this artistic struggle of this very unique group.

With the help of the media houses we would like to do a celebration and fund raising event to help the family of our departed brother, friend and national icon.

MUSIGA would like the media to dedicate a program to the memory of the group and Ronnie as a person, give him the necessary media attention and airplay of old and new songs as well as creating awareness for the upcoming funeral arrangements.

NOTE:

Thursday November 28, 2013 will be the one week gathering for our late brother and colleague Ronnie Coaches.

Venue: KING SOLOMON DANSOMAN ACCRA. TIME: 8am PLEASE CONSIDER THIS AS YOUR INVITATION

Dates of funeral, fund raising and celebrating concert would be announced later to the media. We would appreciate your support to make sure our brother gets a befitting burial.
