Former Central Regional Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Francis Ejaku?Donkoh has called on the party?s members, especially the youth to unite after the presidential primary.wpid-npp-fight1-300x195.jpg

He admonished the youth not to allow their allegiance for the aspirants- Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Francis Addai Nimoh and Alan Kojo Kyeremanten?to divide them.

NPP will today elect a presidential candidate to lead the party in the 2016 general elections.

Mr. Donkoh, in a statement, said the party must focus to recapture power from the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

?Let us not allow our support for any of the three candidates to blind us from seeing the bigger battle ahead. After Saturday, we would need every member of our party, young and old, haves and have-nots to contribute to our win.

?Let?s keep our eyes on the price-there?s no reason having your candidate win on Saturday and losing in December, 2016,? he said.

Mr. Donkoh said, ?We need not be told about the gross mismanagement of the country?s economy by the NDC administration. But let?s not be deceived into thinking that that alone could win us an election. If that were the case, we would have won the 2012 polls with cheeky ease.?

He called on NPP Members of Parliament (MPs) not to be overwhelmed by the current internal politics, stating that ?the factions we create today with these alignments would come back to haunt us in 2016.?

?Let?s stay focused and channel our energies and resources into a convincing win for the NPP and the majority of Ghanaians who want to see a refreshing change come 2016,? he said.

Michael Omari-Wadie, in a goodwill message, urged the NPP delegates to pay attention to the views of the grassroots supporters and vote accordingly.

?Let us not be misled by promises and inducements to vote contrary to what the people want.?Vote with the electorate and 2016 in mind.

?This election is not just about delegates. It is not just about the NPP. It is about our nation. It is about the grassroots supporters and who they want. And it is about who ordinary Ghanaians are yearning for.

?We bear the burden of proving to Ghanaians that we are a party united in our purpose and determination to win the 2016 general elections,? he said.
