NGO Donates To 37 Military Hospital

Jacobs Well Appeal Ghana, a charitable non-governmental organisation (NGO has donated medical equipment and medicines worth 95,000 pounds to 37 Military Hospital.
The items included medical books, food for medical purpose, medicines, hygiene products, medical disposables and textiles.
Ms Sandra Scantlebury, of the NGO said the donation is made to show Gods love as Christians and support the hospital by providing it with high quality medical tools to facilitate the service delivery.
She said the organisation is pleased to share the equipment?s as it recognise the importance of work which calls for help to save lives in difficult situations.
Colonel R.K. Ametepi, Acting Commander of the Hospital expressed gratitude to the donors and said the items would go a long way to protect the patients in the hospital.
He said the hospital now attends to about 75 per cent civilian patients and expressed the hope that more of such donations would be made to improve on the services provided.
Jacobs Well Appeal Ghana is a development charity that is guided by the principles of the Christian faith and has been providing humanitarian aid to Ghana since 2007.
