wpid-NDC-140x140.jpgAs the National Democratic Congress prepares for constituency,

Regional and National elections, at Ejura-Sekyedumase Municipality, old

party excutives have for the past one month hijacked the forms without
making prospective contestants to even know whether the elections will
take place whilst they have been moving the length and breath of the
constituency ?campaigning.
As you move through out the length and breath of the constituency no
party aspirant really knows who are the delegates at the various
polling stations since the old executives are keeping the list to
their chest. Again nobody knows when the forms will be made public for
picking by interested party members ?whilst they rather are busily
campaigning throughout the constituency.
To many party faithfuls this reporter spoke to this was the attitude
put by this same executives and other party gurus including the former
MP which led to the party losing the Parliamentary seat which they
have been winning since 1992 in the last election. What is more
worrying to the constituents is that certain literates and level
headed men and women who could brighten the chances of the party to
recollect their seat are been forced not to contest under the
influence these executives who didn’t have the free room to implement
their strategies. This reporter can confidently say with this kind of
attitudes ,NDC is likely to loose the seat forever since level headed
men and women who could influence and mark the campaign antics of the
opposition NPP are gradually been push away.
Any attempt to talk to any of these executive have have fallen on the
death ears. Any of those people have either chosen to refuse to talk
about issues concerning the party or have indicated recently they are
not in the constituency.
The constituents are now crying for intervention from above which they
think is the only way to save the party losing the seat for ever.
