Innovators worldwide can participate in this event.

NASA is hosting in April an International Space Apps Challenge, a two-day technology development event during which citizens from around the world will work together to solve current challenges relevant to both space exploration and social need.

The event embraces collaborative problem solving with a goal of producing relevant open-source solutions to address global needs applicable to both life on Earth and life in space. NASA is leading this global collaboration along with a number of additional government collaborators and more than 100 local partner organizations.

Participants in the event will collaborate to build software, open hardware, data visualization, and citizen science platform solutions that contribute to space exploration and solve global challenges.

The International Space Apps Challenge will take place in 75 cities around the world. Specific locations can be viewed here.
