TP Mzembe President Moise Katumbi will be in Ghana to hold talks with the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II over investment opportunities in his region.

The businessman and politician is looking to expand his mining holdings and has identified Ghana as a possible new destination for his business.

Katumbi who is the Governor of the Katanga Province in DR Congo has agreed to allow his team ? TP Mazembe ? play in an honorary tournament in Ghana to mark the 15th anniversary of the coronation of the Ashanti king.

The Mazembe President will however be using the opportunity to discuss investment opportunities with Otumfuo.

?He will be here in [Ghana] the latter part of April and he will be holding talks with Otumfuo about investment opportunities,? West African Representative of TP Mazembe Nana Oduro Sarfo has revealed.

?You know he is into mining and the Ashanti Region is noted for mining and therefore that is a possibility.

?I will however be personally proposing he does something also in Accra but that is not major on his agenda in his visit here.?

TP Mazembe have a unique relationship with Ghana following the appointment of Oduro Sarfo ? a Ghanaian ? as the club?s West African representative.

The Congolese giants have signed several Ghanaian players through this relationship with the Ghanaian clubs benefiting from the huge proceeds of these transfers.
