The Commission questioned whether the GFA president is a Muslim for which reason he swore with the Holy Qur’an when he appeared before it on Tuesday.

Dissatisfied with the answers, Chairman of Commission, Justice Senyo Dzamefe asked Mr. Nyantakyi to take his oath again.

“I use my veto as as the?Chairman to ask that he swears again,” the Justice ordered.

But the witness accused the Commission of acting out threats to be hard on him in his second appearance. The threats were contained in an online publication.

“…What you are doing is a replay of what is in the media. I don’t get it.”

Mr. Nyantakyi claimed the publication indicated his second appearance will not be as easy as his first on Tuesday.

“I don?t feel fairly treated at all, with all due respect to you, my Lord…In fact I read this on the internet yesterday that you are going to do this?.

But a member of the Commission, Moses Foah-Amoaning took offence and demanded an apology from Mr. Nyantakyi which the witness yielded to.

“I am very, very offended by the position that president of the FA has taken on the basis of an online information and presuming that the question that I asked was in fulfilment of a strategy…I feel personally very offended by the position that he has taken,” he fumed.

An intervention by Justice Dzamefe was followed by an apology from Mr. Nyantakyi.
