Kumasi Metro gives ultimatum advertising agencies

Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), threatened a lawsuit against the advertising companies, organizations and individuals who have a sign and metropolis without his billboards.

They say the local Government Act 1993 section 79 (Act 450), it is not erect, or be a billboard or within the area of KMA authority unless he received a license.

The press statement signed by Mr. Godwin Okumah Nyame, KMA outreach officer, gave larchaot until Tuesday, April 24, do the right thing, pay the required fee.

Failure to comply with the directive, he warned you leave the KMA without appropriate sanctions to apply, but against criminals.

The Court expressed discontent mode in which a number of advertising agencies, the owner of the billboards were prepared to pay the required fee to the Assembly.

He said it was with the expectation that all institutions and individuals KMA in the requested publication to prevent trouble.
