Striker Yahaya Mohammed is ready to renew his contract at Asante Kotoko despite being accused of entering into a pre-contract agreement with Libyan club Al Ittihad.

The 25-year-old travelled to hold talks with the Tripoli-based side where he is alleged to have signed an agreement to join them at the end of current campaign.

The ex OGC Nice traveled to Libya without the consent of his current employers ? a situation that has seen the dread-locked striker handed an indefinite ban.

Yahaya however says he is ready to extend his stay with the Ghanaian champions if they are willing to renegotiate terms.

?I have just six months to run on my existing deal at Kotoko and therefore I am looking for my next job,? he told Metro FM.

?However if the club is ready to come to a negotiated agreement then since I am already playing for the club, I will sign a new deal.

?But I don?t get the sense that the club is ready to offer me a new deal.?
