Asante Kotoko striker Seidu Bancey says the team is in the best of shapes to secure a result in their Champions League game against JSM Bejaia.

The Ghanaian champions travel on Monday for the first leg clash in Algeria at the weekend.

Kotoko are looking to make a strong impact on their return to Africa after a four-year absence.

The team secured an impressive 8-0 aggregate win over Equatorial Guinean side Sony Nguema in the first preliminary round.

The team is now looking to follow it up with another good result in the first leg game before returning home to finish the job.

And striker Bancey believes the team is well equipped to secure a result in far away Algeria this weekend.

?We are prepared physically and mentally for the game,? he said.

?We understand we will be playing on an artificial pitch but I think we are ready for that.

?We the players are determined to go strictly by the instructions of our coach in order to return with a favourable result.?
