King Faisal will head to the court to fight their relegation from Ghana?s top-flight.

The Kumasi-based side got demoted to the country?s second-tier after drawing 1-1 at home to Berekum Chelsea on the final day of the League on Wednesday.

Faisal feel they have been given a raw deal because there are pending cases at the Ghana FA which have not been cleared.

Medeama have filed an appeal against Aduana Stars after claiming the Dorma-based side failed to pay a fine imposed on them by the Disciplinary Committee.

Clubs have up to 14 days to pay such fine or forfeit subsequent matches.

However the Premier League Board went ahead and declared Kotoko champions despite the obvious effect on the table if Medeama?s appeal is upheld.

Faisal General Manager Nana Amankwah says his side will head to the court to seek interpretation of article 39 of the Ghana FA statues.

?We are going to the High court to get interpretation for article 39, which states that a club fined has within 14 days to settle payment or will forfeit subsequent matches,? Faisal General Manager Nana Amankwah told Metro FM

?We are aware that Aduana Stars couldn?t meet the deadline for their payment, hence have to be declared losers for the  two matches they played against Heart of Lions and Medeama.

Faisal were joined by Amidaus Professionals and Ebusua Dwarfs.
