Suspended Ghana midfield duo Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari must be ?willing to sacrifice? for the Black Stars to pave way for their return, according to new coach Avram Grant.

He said inasmuch as he is willing to work with the Schalke and Milan players, who were sent home at the World Cup for various acts of indiscipline during the tenure of Kwesi Appiah, the two must prove their willingness to return.

?The door is open for everyone ? they need to show they are willing to play ? If they are willing to sacrifice then the door is open to them,? the 59-year-old told the media in Accra, Thursday. ?Players are not untouchable. If they are good, they will play. If they have quality, they will play.?

According to him, every Ghanaian has a chance to be called into the Black Stars once the player can prove ?quality, good mentality and willingness to sacrifice for the nation.?

Describing Ghana?s job as a ?big challenge?, the Israeli noted he is psyched up for the ?long term? task ahead.

He said: ?I?m very happy to take the Ghana job which is a big challenge? I like to win and we will do everything we can to win the 2015 Afcon, but that is not the main thing.?

Grant will be leading Ghana to the Nations Cup in Equatorial Guinea next January, and the four-time African champions have been paired with Senegal, Algeria and South Africa.

Speaking about his opponents, the former West Ham and Partizan Belgrade manager said: ?It has been mentioned that it?s the group of death but I must say we want to live, not die.?

The Israeli stated he is not going to stick to one system but will ?prepare for every system and I have to analyse the players that I have. In the national team, I don?t believe in one system. It doesn?t matter what system.?
