Department of Directorate of Criminal Investigation said the DNA results have confirmed his identity.
Lead investigator in the case John Kariuki said the body will be handed over to the family for burial after they carried out postmortem to establish the cause of his death
Yebei who is a defence witness at the ICC case facing Kenya’s deputy president William Ruto was abducted on December 28, 2014 by unknown people amid conflicting reports indicate he was in Uganda with officials from the ICC, a claim which the Hague-based court denied.
Kariuki said they will carry out proper investigation to apprehend individuals behind his death and assured the family of full cooperation. He denied that police have been playing a cover- up into Yebei death. Enditem
