Udokanma Ndom Umuakalaukwu Emekuku in Owerri North LGA of Imo State has bestowed an award of AGUMBA 1 on the Chief of Staff and Commissioner for Special Duties in Imo State, Sir Jude Ejiogu.

The Award on Sir Ejiogu came barely two weeks he bagged the 2014 best Chief of Staff of the year in the entire Federation.
Presenting the Award while concluding their 2014 Home, Abroad Meeting/Fundraising, President General of the women wing, Lady Alice Amanze said that the award on Sir Ejiogu was in recognition of his leadership qualities which has touched human lives and as well, wiped out the tears of the people of their area thereby bringing unity and development in Owerri North LGA at large.
The President General further disclosed that the award was targeted at individuals that have worked relentlessly in actualizing the development of Imo State and advised the people to continue to work towards providing employment opportunities to the less privileged women.
Lady Amanze maintained that in a bid to reduce the rate of suffering bedeviling their people; Sir Jude Ejiogu engaged youths and women in agro business which according to her has brought enormous happiness in the area.
She therefore appealed to well meaning Imolites at home and in the Diaspora to continue to assist women in ensuring the realization of the ?Ikuona Nkwu? programme of the rescue mission government in the state even while commending the Chief of Staff and his wife, Barr Ngozi Ejiogu for their assistance so far.
Receiving the award, the Chief of Staff and Commissioner for Special Duties, Sir Jude Ejiogu expressed happiness on the level of unity, corporation the women have brought to the area and thanked them for finding him worthy of the honour.
He promised to continue to contribute his quota by engaging women and youths in relevant businesses that aimed at reducing the rate of poverty and stagnation in the society.
Sir Ejiogu who is the 2014 best Chief of Staff of the year in the entire country further challenged the women to be good ambassadors of peace whose aim is to assist their men folk to develop the society.
The Chief of Staff while dedicating the award to Governor Rochas Okorocha also thanked him for given him the opportunity to serve the people diligently, he therefore appealed to the women to continue to support the rescue mission government in ensuring the delivery of dividends of democracy to the grass root.
