Kotoko Coach Counts On Duo To Beat Hearts In Sunday?s Super Clash

Kotoko coach Mas-ud Dramani is hoping to count on midfield duo Jordan Opoku and Yahaya Mohammed to silence sworn rivals Hearts in Sunday?s Super Clash.

Kotoko will travel to the capital to play their bitter rivals in the second week of the Ghanaian top-flight at the Accra sports stadium.

Both teams go into the encounter in buoyant mood after they recorded impressive wins in their opening fixtures.

While Kotoko came from behind to beat Aduana Stars 2-1 at the Sunyani Coronation Park, Hearts continued their blistering performance at Bekwai as they silenced New Edubiase 2-0 at their own backyard.

The Phobians have massive injury concerns ahead of the fixture with key players Moro Abubakar, Obed Ansah Stephen Tetteh all ruled out for various reasons.

While Ansah and Tetteh have been ruled out due due to injuries, Abubakar is suspended for the tie.

Sunday?s two goal hero Emmanuel Hayford is racing against time to be fit for the cracker but coach Duncan has insisted he has enough quality to replace those who will miss the game.

His opposite number Dramani has a clean bill of health in his team, praising the positive attitude of his players ahead of the hugely anticipated encounter.

The ex-Ghana U17 women?s team coach has singled out duo Jordan Opoku and Yahaya Mohammed for their impressive start to the season.

He says the returnees will play a key role in his quest to retain the Premier League crown.

?We knew what influential roles they (Jordan Opoku and Yahaya Mohammed) can play that?s we brought them and so every member of the team whether new or old are crucial to the success of the team,? Dramani told XYZ

?I have made a point to build my team around them.

?I am putting a group of generals together and that means everybody is in his own class. What I aim to do is to blend them well and get the best out of them?

?So far it looks very good for the team after constant practice in training. The two players have that quality we look out for and as Coach I know that their arrivals will do the club a lot of good this season?

Both players played influential roles in their opening success witth Opoku grabbing the equalizer against the Dorma-based side.
