John Boye
Rennes coach Philippe Montanier has hinted that John Boye could be handed a started role in Wednesday?s Coupe de France round 16 tie against Auxerre away.
The centre-back could step in for C?dric Hountondji due to fatigue.
?It is a possibility as C?dric Hountondji has played a lot of games and getting tired,? Montanier replied when asked about Boye?s availability.
He was an unused substitute in last Saturday?s 3-1 defeat at Ajaccio.
Boye has been battling injuries since September last year after captaining Ghana in a 3-1 friendly defeat to Japan.
His return will be a massive boost for Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah ahead of naming his World Cup squad in three months time.
