?In the 1970s the late Nigerian musician Fela Kuti revolutionised African music with the style he coined Afrobeat. It combined funk, jazz, highlife, chants and traditional rhythms, and often included inflammatory political messages. Four decades later, young African artists in the diaspora are mixing the best sounds from the continent with anything from hip-hop, to reggae and even house, and they call the current craze Afrobeats. For many Africans in the UK, it has led to a new found pride in their backgrounds, as BBC Africa?s Lebo Diseko reports. Watch Video Feature
