Reports coming out of The Flagstaff House has it that President John Dramani Mahama has sacked the National security Coordinator Lt. Col. Larry Gbevlo Lartey (Retired) from his post Tuesday.
The presidency hasn?t given any reason as to why Mr. Gbevlo Lartey was dismissed.
President Mahama has also tapped Mr. Yaw Donkor, the Director of the Bureau of National Investigations to take over from Mr. Lartey.
It is expected that Mr. Donkor will officially take over his new office on May 12, 2014.
The President wrapped-up his ?mini-reshuffle? by also appointing Mr. Pius Awelinga to take over as the Director of the Bureau of National Investigations (acting).
