‘Invest In Africa’ Builds Capacity Of Local Businesses

It is a good time for Ghanaian entrepreneurs who want to access new international clients and grow their business.
Invest in Africa is offering the opportunity for local businesses to grow with the introduction of its latest initiative, the African Partner Pool(APP).

The APPis Ghana?s first cross-sector online business portal that supports SMEs by promoting them to new clients and international buyers, and improving access to contracts and invitations to tender.

The APP has been created to simplify the local sourcing process by making Ghanaian SMEs more visible to large international and domestic companies. Invest in Africa have also formed a partnership with the African Development Bankto support these SMEs in raising their capacity through business skills training.

On Thursday 27th November, Invest in Africa are inviting Ghanaian businesses to a free one (1) hour workshop on the APP at the Kofi Annan ICT Centre in Accra at three (3) different times: 9am, 11am or 2pm. To register your attendance for a session, please visit www.africanpartnerpool.com.

Participants at the workshop will hear about how to sign up to the APP and how it can support your company?s ambitions by ensuring you can be found by new clients looking to do business in Ghana.

Mr. Sam Brandful, Invest in Africa Ghana Manager said ?The African Partner Pool is the core of IIA?s work in Ghana. This directory will assist local suppliers promote their businesses and increase their ability to tender more competitively.?
