The two week programme will end a few days after the Independence Day on March 6.

The fun packed activity is part of its commitment to continue providing the best and the most affordable meal and has a strong relationship with consumers as well as creates more value for them.

?Indomie earlier this year, gave out vehicles to its key distributors and other prizes to retailers. It is however now time to celebrate the consumers,? the Brand Manager, Shine Akiem Torsoo, said.

Mr Torsoo said the team will visit about 4 markets each day until after the Independence Day.

He said in an interview that, the product has not only ?created independent enterprises for many people but also granted families the freedom to fix quick and nutritious meals?.

Some of the markets that will be visited include Okaishie, Madina, Kasoa, Mallata, Ashaiman and Tema.

Others are Dansoman, Nungua, Teshie, Nima, Kaneshie, Odorkor, Mallam, Agbogbloshie, Lapaz, Achimota and Aworshie.

Mr Torsoo said several activities had been lined up throughout the year to impact the lives of their stakeholders.

He said various training programmes will be held for their distributors and retailers to improve on their business, but added that, the Independence Day celebration is just to ?celebrate our cherished consumers?.

According to Mr Torsoo, besides rewarding their teeming consumers with the free products, the two week programme, will also afford the company the opportunity to get feedback from them.

The programme will also be used to educate the market women on sanitation ahead of the rains. This is to prevent the recurrence of the magnitude of the cholera outbreak that the country suffered last year, with about 17,000 cases and 150 deaths.

Mr Torsoo noted that the disastrous effect of cholera last year must not happen again and therefore, at each market, the market women and shoppers will be educated on observing basic hygiene.

He said healthy eating will also dominate the educational activities. ?We do not only want our customers to enjoy our meals but to remain healthy, to support the growth and development of mother Ghana?, Mr Torsoo emphasized.
