?We will not take PDP presenting two candidates in this election. How can somebody be on the seat of chairman at the Senate House committee overseeing electoral matters ? be allowed to contest for elections without stepping down from the chairman?s seat. There must be legal and constitutional implications. How can there not be? We want free and fair polls. We don?t want a repeat of 2007elections in Anambra. The people of Anambra know what happened in 2007. Those people are here contesting again. We know  God will do His Wish. Our party, the labor party is the only party that has not displayed disunity like others. We are better for Anambra. God will give the victory, not Abuja?, said the gubernatorial candidate for the labor party, Chief Ifeanyi Ubah to 247ureports.com over recent theatrical developments in Anambra State.

The Chief Executive Officer [CEO] of Capital Oil spoke on the telephone. He explained that amidst unfolding theatrics emanating from the buildup to November 16, 2013 gubernatorial elections in Anambra, the Labor party remains without rancor.

This he said while elaborating further ? that the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] produced two candidates, Ezeemo, a gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressive Congress [APC] rejected APC?s adoption of Senator Chris Ngige as the guber candidate, the APGA?s disqualification of their ?1st eleven? aspirants in return for lesser known aspirants, injected a debilitating dose of crisis into the party.  He called it ?a sign? that God is with Labor Party.

Chief Ifeanyi Uba had been entangled with legal wrangling over business deals that may have gone sour with business partners. Unverified speculation point to Uba?s aspiration to be the principal reason why he found himself entangled, some speculate that his decision to go after the APGA gubernatorial ticket through Victor Umeh ? may have cost him the wrath of Governor Peter Obi.

Chief Uba refused to comment on the details of the controversies behind squabbles with his business partners. He said ?it was all in the past?.

It is recalled Chief Uba obtained two perpetual conjunctions barring the Economic and Financial Crimes [EFCC], the State Security Service [SSS], and other law enforcement outfits from re-arresting him or investigation further into the matter. It is believed Chief Uba?s freedom rests on the perpetual injunction.
