Egypt Coach Bob Bradley Accepts Blame For Ghana Drubbing

Egypt coach Bob Bradley has accepted responsibility for his team?s humiliating 6-1 defeat against Ghana in the World Cup playoff match on Tuesday.

The record African Cup winners were on the wrong side of a Black Stars rout with captain Asamoah Gyan leading by example from the start.

The Al Ain ace began the unrelenting Ghana onslaught after just five minutes by striking his side in front before a Wael Gomaa own goal extended Ghana?s lead before a packed crowd at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

But the Pharaohs pulled one back from the spot through Mohammed Aboutrika ony compounded the situation as Majeed Waris, Gyan, Sulley Muntari and Christian Atsu scored to complete the rout.

Many Egyptians are already calling for the head of the American whose first defeat in the World Cup qualifying series came against the Black Stars.

Bradley future remains in a balance and the former USA coach says he is to be blamed for the team?s poor showing.

?I came to Egypt and I understood the dream of the people and I understood the responsibility and so today I accept the blame and say sorry to the people of Egypt because we have been working for two years for this,? he said.

?I knew the responsibility when I took the job and if we don?t get to the World Cup then I accept the failure because this was the dream and this is the responsibility.?
