Guinness congratulates Its Pan-African Ambassador Fuse ODG

Guinness has congratulated celebrated Ghanaian musician Fuse ODG for winning the Best African Act at the 2014 Music of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards. This is the second successive time the artiste is grabbing the Best African Act at the MOBOs.

Fuse ODG who is the Pan-African Ambassador for the Guinness #madeofblack campaign, won the keenly contested category amongst fellow African musicians Davido, DJ Clock, Dr Sid, Mafikozolo, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Afrikan Boy, Mista Silva and Yemi Alade.

In a congratulatory message, Acting Marketing Director at Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL) Judith Osei-Ampofo said ?We are proud Fuse ODG has won the Best African Act in the just ended MOBO awards. He continues carving his own path and putting Ghana and Africa on the world map. He is truly #madeofblack?

She reiterated that ?For the Guinness #madeofblack campaign, black is not a colour, it is an attitude! It is not afraid to break boundaries and rewrite the rules! And that is exactly what Fuse ODG has been pursuing in his music.?

On his official Twitter page (@FuseODG), the multiple-award winning artiste tweeted ?Thank u Lord…Just won Best African Act!!!!!!!!!!! Thank u all for the support #MOBOS2014?.

Fuse got three nominations namely Best Male, Best Song and Best African Act.

The 19th MOBO Awards took place Wednesday October 22 at the SEE Arena in Wembley, United Kingdom.
