The #BBOG group yesterday reiterated their demand that the Chibok schoolgirls be rescued as they staged a peaceful march around Abuja city.

Convener of the group, Oby Ezekwesili said the group?s Christmas march was special for the kidnapped girls to remind the government that the girls were still in captivity but police set up a barricade at the Presidential Villa to prevent them from entry.

Oby announced that she was ashamed of all leaders in the country including the National Assembly who were comfortably enjoying Christmas with their own daughters while the Chibok girls were still held captive.

?Today our special stand for our #ChibokGirls was to symbolically pass through the gates of the National Assembly and villa to remind our leaders, when a contingent of policemen alongside their vehicles formed a blockade to prevent us from our march, I reminded them of the German wall,? she said.

She also stated ?shame on the leadership that thinks it is okay to move on with celebration as usual when 219 of our most vulnerable citizens are held captive.?
