GPL: Hearts of Oak goal poacher Mahatma Otoo emerge the Best Player

The Professional League Board (PLB) of the Ghana Football Association on Tuesday awarded former Accra Hearts of Oak goal poacher Mahatma Otoo for emerging as the Best Player of the 2012/2013 Glo Premier League.
OtooThe awards, which was supposed to have been held after the season under review had to be delayed because of the impasse between the FA and the then title sponsor of the league, Globacom.
Below is the full list of the 2012/2013 Premier League Awards;
Most Promising Player of the Year – Bernard Morrison, formerly of Hearts of Lions.
Fair Play Club of the Year – Wa All Stars
Assistant Referee of the Year – A.S Malik
Referee of the Year – William Agbovi
Coach of the Year – Mas aud Didi Dramani (then with Asante Kotoko)
Goalkeeper of the Year – Fatau Dauda (AshantiGold)
Defender of the Year – Rashid Sumaila (then with Asante Kotoko)
Top Goal Scorer of the Year – Mahatma Otoo (then with Hearts of Oak)
Best Player of the Year – Mahatma Otoo
Each award winner received a certificate, a plaque, and GHC1,000 except the best player who took home GHC2,000.
