Mr. Edward Boateng, Executive Chairman of Global Media Alliance (GMA) is one of the main speakers at the upcoming 4th Accra Biennial Sports Expo 2012 to be held in Accra from 15 to 18 may 2012 in the Accra sports stadium. He will speak on the theme ”
sport as an emerging industry in Africa: framework defining for continental Empowerment ‘.Edward Boateng will also participate in other group discussions during the four days that carries the theme ‘ promoting Africa exposition’S TALENTS worldwide: role of sport BUSINESS ‘.RICS consult Limited, is in collaboration with a number of institutions, organization of the event whose emphasis will lie in the ways of the leverage of all facets of sports business principles and practices to develop and worldwide promotion of Africa’s sporting talents while looking for consensus on a road map designed to help African Nations; Governments; sports policy makers; Administrators and performers to re-think sport as an emerging industry with all the attendant benefits African economies grow.
More than 200 participants from the various regional/district councils, national sports associations and sports federations, District/municipal/Metropolitan assemblies and the private sector will participate in the four-day conference. Mr. Boateng, who is also Chairman of the SilverBird group Africa, the brains behind Ghana Limited, a partnership between global SilverBird Entertainment and the SilverBird group MediaAlliance of Nigeria, was a speaker at the 3rd football Expo held in 2008.
