Ghana names final 21-man squad for FIFA U20 world cup

The head coach of Ghana?s U-20 men?s national team, Sellas Tetteh, has submitted his final 21-man squad to FIFA for the World Youth Championship in New Zealand.

U20The list includes eight foreign-based players including Granada forward Clifford Aboagye, who was named the third-best player at the same competition two years ago.
The Black Satellites are in Group B alongside Argentina, Panama and Austria.
Ghana, who placed third at the 2015 African Youth Championship in Senegal, will open its campaign against Austria on May 30 at the Wellington Regional Stadium in New Zealand.
Mali, Nigeria and Senegal are the other sides to represent Africa at the U-20 World Cup.
The Black Satellites finished third at the 2013 edition of the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey.
Ghana is the only African side to have annexed the FIFA U-20 World Cup trophy in 2009.
The 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup will be the 20th edition of the U-20 World Cup since its inception in 1977 as the FIFA World Youth Championship.
