The Ghana FA have launched ‘GFA TV’ which will serve as one of the media outlets.
The official television channel is the first ever launched by an African FA.
GFA TV is a thirty-minute program which will be giving in-depth coverage of all the activities and programs of the Ghana FA.
The new TV channel is an out-sourced innovation of the Ghana FA with its production handled by J&J Consult.
Ghana FA President Kwesi Nyantakyi led a highly powered Ghana FA Executive Committee meeting to do the official launch at the Alisa Hotel on Tuesday.
“Today is a historic moment for the Ghana Football Association. Today is the launch of GFA TV,” GFA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi said at the launch.
“GFA TV will serve as one of the outlets of the Ghana Football Association to give informed details about the operations of the association.
“It will also be used to engage our audience and educate them on the number of programs being undertaken by the Ghana Football Association.”
GFA TV is thirty-minute program which will run weekly on the state-owned broadcaster; GTV.
There are however plans to have the show airing on other television networks within and outside Ghana.
The television show aside giving in-depth coverage of the programs of the Ghana FA will also be giving exclusive behind the scenes and interviews from the camps of the various national teams.
