Some people have raised concerns about Mr Nyantakyi?s appearance at the Commission and?described the move as government?interference in the running of foot-ball in the country.

World football governing body,?the Federation of International Foot-ball Associations (FIFA), has?expressed misgivings about some of?the terms of reference and mandate?of the Presidential Commission.

FIFA?s precise concern is that?some of the terms of the Commission are purely football matters and?ought to be addressed by the congress of the Ghana Football Association.

Certainly, FIFA would have its?attention on the Commission today?and monitor how Mr. Nyantakyi?would be probed before the cameras.

The Commission has been man-dated to find facts on the preparation of the Black Stars and happenings in Brazil.

Mr. Nyantakyi was chairman of?the Black Stars Management Committee.

According to reports, the Com-mission would ask him to give evidence about the reported misunderstanding that erupted in the team?s?camp, the team?s financial arrangements and details about preparations made for the team.

The chief counsel of the GFA,?Thaddeus Sory is expected to accompany Mr. Nyantakyi to the Commission this morning.
