General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has cautioned that a vote for the New Patriotic Party?s Nana Akufo-Addo will be tragic for the fortunes of Ghana.
According to Mr. Nketia, Ghanaians need to vote for a younger president to prevent the incidence of the loss of another sitting president.
?If a chief dies on the throne at age 60, you do not install someone who is 70 years to succeed him. When Professor Mills was alive Nana Akufo-Addo was older than him. Let?s vote someone who is younger and vibrant; vote for President John Mahama.?
He was addressing a rally in the Eastern Regional town of Nsawam.
The NDC general Secretary also called on the people of the newly re-demarcated Nsawam constituency to vote massively for the NDC to show their appreciation for the creation of the new constituency.
