Free State Stars Signs Adams

New Edubiase striker Basit Adams has arrived in South Africa to complete a shock move to Free State Stars. 

The Bethlehem-based side have stolen the march off Ghanaian giants Kotoko and Hearts for the signature of the impressive attacker. 

Adams was rumoured to be closing in on a move to one of the two top sides in the Ghana Premier League have but swerved them to sign for Ea Lla Koto. 

He arrived in the country in the company of New Edubiase’s Executive vice-chairman Alex Ackumey to finalize his switch. 

The former Ghana U20 is expected to sign a three-year deal subject to passing a medical and join compatriot Daniel Agyei who has completed his move to the club. 

Coach Steve Komphela wants to build a crack side ahead of the start of the 2013/2014 Absa Premiership and has therefore set his eyes on signing the best players for the upcoming campaign. 

The South African Premier League is becoming a haven for Ghanaian players after Fatau Dauda and Yakubu Mohammed (Orlando Pirates), Rashid Sumaila (Sundowns).
