Berekum Chelsea President Emmanuel Kyeremeh has sought permission from undertaking his duties at the Ghana FA to attend to his health ? exempting himself from the punishment of removal from the Executive Committee in the process.

The chartered accountant has been absent for the last three meetings of the Ghana FA?s Executive Committee.

Kyeremeh risked losing his place on the Ghana FA?s powerful 22-man Executive Committee for his extended absence as per the association?s statutes.

Article 29.5 of the GFA Statutes states: ?If a member of the Executive Committee absents himself from meetings of the Executive Committee for three (3) consecutive times without just cause, the Committee shall report his conduct to the next Congress.?

But the Berekum Chelsea President has notified the Ghana FA?s top hierarchy of his reasons for absenting himself from the Ex.Co to absorb himself of the punishement provided for by the GFA Statutes.

?Mr. Kyeremeh has been unable to attend the last three meetings of the Executive Committee,? Ghana FA President Kwesi Nyantakyi revealed at Congress on Wednesday.

?He has submitted a medical report to justify his absence and we will want to wish him speedy recovery.?
